The real flagship of Podere la Piazza is the restaurant that allow guests to eat in Costigliole d’Asti a place of rare beauty, between Langhe and Monferrato. The chef Josè Dafarra, graduated in catering school has followed pastry courses in France and has worked in star restaurant, he proposes typical Piedmont and Langhe dishes, but also fish-based menu. The raw material used are of very first quality and come from small local producer. The restaurant has several rooms: one with columns and brick vaults that can accommodate up to 60 people; the events hall which can accommodate up to 230 guests and then the intimate rooms of the Bistro, a room with original frescoes from the 1700s and a room with chests of drawers. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and heating.

Since October 2018, the gastronomic offer has been enriched with the Podere La Piazza Bistrot. It offers a tasting menu with a selection of typical dishes and author re-visitations. For bistrot are reserved two rooms, one with frescoes by 1700 and one at panelled. The bistrot is also appropriate for appetizers. At the restaurant and the bistrot can be tasted wines produced by farmhouse, such as Barbera and many other labels.

In summer, dinners can be served outdoors in the dehor with a panoramic view.

All dishes can be chosen between the daily proposal, such as:

Albese raw meat, seasonal Flan with fondue or Veal with tuna sauce

Barolo Risotto, Plin Ravioli with roast meat sauce or Castelmagno Dumplings

Barbera Braised, Rabbit Rollatin or Pork fillet

Panna cotta, Tiramisù or Parfait


Starter, a first course, a second course with side dish, a dessert, water and coffee (excluding wines) €40/person

Room guests can eat in the bistro for €35/person (excluded wines).

Dishes can change based on seasonality and market availability.

During the summer the Bistrot dinner is served outside, outdoors with a magnificent view of the hills, the vineyards and the illuminated swimming pool.

Everything will be served outdoors in our garden terrace in compliance with the law, if the climate allows it; or in the indoor halls keeping the necessary distance without any dividing barriers.

Every evening from 7.30pm to 9.30pm from Monday to Saturday
Saturday and Sunday also lunchtime from 12.30 to 1.30 pm

Following menu for special occasions such us: communions, birthdays, baptisms etc…

All courses can be modified and agreed together. During service of special occasions, is planned the second passage of all courses. These kinds of menu are valid for banquets of at least 15 adults.

Kids under 3 years of age are free, from 3 to 10 years of age pay half; or it is possible to choose menu baby for € 20,00 euro with cooked ham, pasta with tomatoes sauce, steak, fried chips, dessert, soft drinks.

Or they can choose whatever they want from the menu for € 20,00

You can order a cake with an add of € 60,00.

The appetizer is set up outdoors in good weather.

The rooms used for restaurant are 2, one can accommodate up to 60 guests, while the other can accommodate up to 230 guests. Moreover, is active the Podere La Piazza Bistrot, for which is used a third room with frescoes and a fourth room at panelled.

The Events Room is the largest space: hosts until a max of 230 persons with con roundtables setting up. Suitable for various situations, this room can be split in 3 different rooms:

  • Vetrata Room for about 100 persons
  • Centrale Room for about 80 persons
  • Rialzata Room for about 40 persons

The others meeting rooms of the facility are:

  • Breakfast room, for meeting of max 50 persons
  • Panelled room for meeting of about 30 persons
  • Bistrot room, completely frescoed, host max 30 persons.
